A terrible person has taken the name and I don't do make up any more. They are even trying to sell the name for an exorbitant price.

in the blink of an eye
CNY is over! Thank goodness this year is much more bearable than the past years because I was actually chatting with people, mostly with my cousin's new wife, Tina. She's pretty fun and cute, and a life scientist like me :P And she hates research HAHA!!! She is moving back to Melbourne with my cousin in Feb! I have a new shopping partner :X
One other good thing this CNY was the food prepared by my grandaunt, who is a Peranakan. She makes the most AWESOME and FANTASTIC sambal fried rice EVER. I look forward to it every year. And the most AMAZING salted vegetables and duck soup.... Ohhhhhh yum. Stuffed my face.
Anyway, I usually never liked CNY because I don't like having to be like a trained performing smiling monkey for rellos I never see anyway. And ang paos? I am not allowed to use them anyway... So other than the awesome sambal fried rice and soup there is nothing to look forward to really.

turn off that nasty CNY music
Well, I didn't do much since last year, having been wonderfully unproductive and lazy.
I did do some shopping on and offline.
Firstly, this dress from etsy.com:

And also a MAC 15 pan palette to house some of my eyeshadows:

Also bought a Spiked eyebrow pencil and finally bought a new loose powder- Chanel's poudre universalle libre. Not tried it yet :P
I am returning to Melbs on the 14th of Feb... But I only arrive on the morning of 15th and won't be able to spend V-day with Elliot .... Poo.

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Another Christmas, another New Year, the clock is ticking!
I am tired as so I cbf to upload pictures. Anyway, since I have been back, I haven't been productive at all! This is unacceptable and has to change D:
Oh, the other day I bought a nice dress from Robinsons for 109, and since I had vouchers, I only had to pay 9 bucks! HEHE! Also had a really good find at the Mango sale, a cute navy jacket for 59, down from 99! Squee!
I've been trying to buy things from cosmetics counters but I have not been impressed either by the service or the products! For example, there was no one at the Paul & Joe counter until like 25 seconds later! And then two of the lighter shades of their loose powder are sold out... How can this be?! The SA at Ettusais was also too busy braiding her hair to say hi, so fuck you, you're not earning anything from me.
Been playing a fair bit of Little Big Planet on PS3, it's a really cute game!
Okay, I'm really tired so I shall give up writing here and fully vegetate.

Appreciate: Melbourne...
Singapore is so boring- there are only so many places you can go to, nothing to explore at all! Bitch Bitch Rant Rant.
Am waiting on some pix from my cousin, Jasmine, with whom I went out on a pig-out fest. It's cool to be able to connect with a relative. I am not close to them at all otherwise, which is kind of sadddd.
I miss Elliot :( Can't wait to go back to see him again! He made a mock up of a wordpress blog design for me! IT IS SO CUTE HEHEHEHEHE.

Might be going to Barcelona and Lisbon in Feb... BUT I WANT TO GO TO HK!!! Not Spain and Portugal! Something is awfully wrong with me, right?!

Obligatory update posttttt
I've been done with the exams six days ago, but I've just been too busy to update! I am going to try to remember what I did-- so here goes:
Day the exam ended
Went home to get prepped for dinner with LQ, Elliot was too busy to keep me company! Pfffshthhtt. Had dinner at Tomodachi @ Melb Central, it was expensive but mmmgoooood, and I wore my new dress from Hello Gorgeous- It is pretty amazing and I love it. I have been on a dress-acquisition mode, and I should have two more from Urban Outfitters if they, along with the US postal system, stop being twats. Damn Americunts!
We decided that IT WAS TOO EARLY TO GO HOME!- So we went to watch the only movie that was barely even worth spending 5 seconds at, which was Quantum of Solace *shudder* Daniel Craig is so ugly and the movie is so bad. It was still way too early to go back, so we went and had a drink at Cookie... I think it was Cookie, but IDK, it was too dark to tell. Had the most fucking potent Long Island Tea known to mankind, so potent that every drop was worth the $20 for that one stupid drink. Still too early to call it a day, so we went for supper at Chinatown while semi-tipsy AHHA so funny trying to walk down stairs.
Day 2 Post exams
LQ and I team up again to storm Chapel St.- Kekekeke. I had a dress I wanted to try at American Apparel before I ordered it online, and THANK GOD I went to try it on, because it looked crap on me. SO after traipsing around for a bit, when I also picked up some petrochemical free Paw Paw Ointment (that's papaya), which is some awesome shiz for use as lipbalm or on dry skin!
We decided to be random and go down to Glenferrie and walk around- Boring street, really. I prefer Bridge Rd or Chapel St, Smith St or Brunswick St even! Headed back to the city and etc.!
Day 3 Post exams
Again the story begins with LQ and I! Ahahaha. We're kind of partners in crime over here :P So this day we take the train down to Belgrave, which is an hour away, except Connex (the train system) sucks and the train bound for Belgrave suddenly turned into a train bound for Riversdale. WTF CONNEX??! I hate you. So we had to get off at a stop along the way and wait for the next train that actually is really, seriously, NO LIES AND DECEIT, going to Belgrave. So Belgrave is like a hour's ride away and is up on the Dandenong Ranges, which are sorta low mountain ranges where there are lots of cute little towns and shops and ... things. We met our friend Ani, and then hopped on the Puffing Billy, which is a steam train that goes around the Dandenongs and show off the superb views.
After about an hour of being stuck in a carriage with two small kids, we met up with De, who is armed with a camcorder. De first drove us to Grants, but LQ and I have already been there with her previously, so this is just to scare Ani with....
BIRDS. So many fucking birds omg. I hate birds. >_> These are parrots, so at least they look quite pretty (compared to seagulls and pigeons.. grr)
Ani and De with the BIRDS of DOOM!

Did I mention that I hate birds? Seagulls in particular.
We drove up to Sassafras where the AWESOME tea shop is, and I bought some English Breakfast for Ade and some Darjeeling for myself :D, our next shop is the amazing pie shop in the town Olinda, called Pie in the Sky! Pie is so awesome. No pictures sry, too busy eating lolol.
After that, we went to the top of the mountains, to the lookout called Sky High!

If you click on the photo to enlarge, you can see some tall buildings on the left of the horizon- that is the Melbourne CBD :)
Some random garden at Sky High.

We went on to visit the William Ricketts Sanctuary, where there are sculptures among the ferns and rocks and stuff. I didn't really like it because I was tired and cranky by then!
Arty Farty shot of a sculpture!
After that, we drove down to Bonbeach, near Frankston, and we flew a kite on the beach and played with the water! This went on until we could see the multiple storms moving in- yes you can actually see the storms move in from the bay, really fucking awesome. I have no pictures because I am a noob and left my camera in the car. Ani left us, and De took us to her place back in Cranbourne, where we sat around, talked and ate junk food while it rained outside. We caught the next train back to Melbs because it was an hour's ride away and the next train would be at 9... Which is.. No.
Day 4
Didn't do much, too pooped from yesterday- commuting and sitting in cars for long drives = SO TIRING!! Went out to the city to do a bit of shopping and called it a day, basically!
Day 5
Was the big day today for going to Geelong to visit Eliza! Elliot and I caught a regional train from Southern Cross station.

We were stuck in a cabin with this bunch of middle aged people whom Aussies will call 'bogans' or what SGreans will call kampong kias. They were sat apart and talking over the carriage to one another about boring shit that no one cares about. Lawl. And one lady had this awful fake Chanel bag.
Eliza and Craig picked us up from the station, and also this girl named Eve, who is backpacking in AU till next July- we went down to Queenscliff to take a ferry, and there happened to be a music fest and stalls up and stuff, and there was this awesome one-man band with a metal guitar! I bought one of his cds! Only 5 bucks! Cheep cheep!

Had fish and chips! Lol at Elliot. Siao angmoh :P
Ferried back to Queenscliff, drove back to Geelong, where we had some hot chocolate at Panache, which was really yummy! We then took the train back to Melbs cause we were all tired as.
Day 6
Nothing much today really, went out to have lunch with Elliot at his favourite place... Him and his claypot rice lol. Bugged by flies through the meal! :( I then dragged him to Southbank for the craft market! Really cool :D I like how Melbs has all these market thingies... Yet to go to the Camberwell market or the St Kilda one- They only happen on Sundays, and I don't have anymore Sundays until my return to SG... Oh well, Leave some places for next semesters, right? :D
